Position Summary:
Licensed health care professional to practice medicine within the scope of the State of Indiana licensing act with the supervision of a practicing physician.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs and documents simple physical examinations.
2. With the consultation of an attending physician, may diagnose and determine treatment for designated patients.
3. May order certain medications under the approval of physician.

5. Will interpret various laboratory tests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana
Experience: Two years in general practice, One year in orthopaedics practice preferred. We will consider a new graduate.
Billing/Account Representative
Responsible for the timely submission of technical or professional medical claims to insurance companies including physician, surgical and ancillary services.
Job Duties:
• Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines especially Medicare and state Medicaid
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Check each insurance payment is for accuracy and compliance with contract discount
• Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
• All accounts are to be reviewed for insurance or patient follow-up
• Answer all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.

• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors/tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.

• Preferred Qualification: One year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Circulating RN

Summary
The RN-Surgery delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Education & Experience
• Preferred Qualification: One year of orthopaedic experience.
• Minimum Qualification: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Licenses & Certifications
• Minimum Qualification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification obtained within thirty days of hire date to position.
• Minimum Qualification: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana obtained by hire date to position.
